Seiki Valve Gate System
Our valve gate system has a “Topless” design. The valve
pin shuts off directly to the gate in the cavity. There
are two types of systems: a single heater system and a
double system. The single heater system uses the body
heater only to control the temperature. The double
heater system has a body heater and a probe tip heater
to gain a separate control over the temperature around
the gate.
Features
“Topless” structure, -- the gate is cut directly into
the cavity in order to the most cooling. With a double
heater system (the probe has separate heaters for a tip
and a body), the tip heater synchronizes the molding
cycle to employ the intermittent heating method. This
system also facilitates the molding of the crystalline
resins.

Spear
The spear has a double heater structure consisting of a
tip heater and a body heater.
The spear tip has been modified to directly heat itself.
There are a large variety of spears available to
accommodate different resin types and applications.
Overall structure of the Spear System
The spear system consists of a spear (embedded into
the die), a manifold, and a controller for output
(temperature) control.
Principle and Features of the Spear System
The resin at the sprue and runner is kept molten to
maintain constant fluidity. Depending on the temperature
of the gate land and a die, a very small amount of the
resin solidifies along with the resin inside of the
cavity. After the molded product is removed, the spear
tip is heated up to instantly melt the solidified resin
at the gate land just before the next injection.

The gate

inveted cylinder unit and a center gate type
or multi-point type with a manifold.

mechanism” for the valve pin and air driving
system prevents abrasion and breakage of the
gate of the mold and the pin.

With using higher quality
of the valve pin, it ensures good appearance
of the gate mark.

With using the
cylindering valve pin, and the low-pressure
system to control the switches of the pin,
abrasion and breakage of the gate of the
mold and the pin are prevented.

No resin is shed by
strictly quality control of the clearance
between the valve pin and sleeve
